| Yep, that SALT! |
Okay I have mixed reactions about the movie.. Firstly, I loved the stunts...they were really awesome. But I suppose in a Jolie film thats expected (remember Tomb Raider and Wanted?? ) but still, I enjoyed them. Secondly, although there was quite a lot of violence in the film, it was the sophisticated sort and not like Ghajini (random, I know, but my dad pointed that out and it true I suppose! ). Thirdly, I loved the different looks she's given in the movie! She goes from blonde to brunette and then disguises herself as a boy! more of a young man, really. And in one scene she has this beaten up, tortured look...very chilling! Some scenes really shocked me...like the one in which they killed Salt's hubby! Its was awful! Okay, so what are the low points? Basically, its just that during the movie, you have no bloody clue, what Salt's trying to achieve! I kept on asking myself "why is she doing that, what does she want? Omg! is she actually a Russian spy???" Fine, so maybe the plan was to keep the audience guessing, right? But, hello! Provide us with answers please or atleast hints! So, I think the script needed some changes. Even the end was inconclusive....According to me, Salt is neither on America's side, nor on Russia's side. So who's side is she on? Uhhmm..maybe on the side of good?! Dunno, really!
Despite all these things, I found the movie quite gripping..Heck, my family and I went to watch the late night show, and none of us dozed off (although my mom and bro both were VERY sleepy!) I guess the basic thing is that USA vs. Russia still sells! Have any of you guys watched it? Please comment! I would love to know what you guys thought of the movie!

Your shoulder, that is. Why would I poke my own shoulder?
