Yes. I know Ive been acting like Houdini for a while. Too much to do. I dont know if you guys missed my amazingly witty and humourous posts at all but, hell, I missed blogging!
So, here's a quick update of what ive been upto since, well, January 19th!
School's been pretty hectic, with projects, term papers and essays to write, and deadlines being ignored. We had three cycle tests in a span of five days (Yes, my school's the coolest, undoubtedly!).
We also had our Farewell and Conti on the 25th.
For the Farewell, which was during the day, we had to wear suits, the same as all other schools. The guys had to wear suits too. Everyone looked really awesome. The girls looked waaay prettier than they usually do in their uniform and the guys, well, they actually looked smart and decent! The 11thies performed for class 12 during the show. I was dancing with a group of about 30 people. It was so much of fun! Wht 2 say bout d costum, I kinda lukd lyk a wanabe in mah costum. But after a certain point of time, I really couldnt care less.
Coming to the Conti. Yes. We have ours in our school. As much of a let down that may be, Im sort of happy it was, because chances are my parents wouldnt have let me go had it been in some club, with alcohol, and a lot of random strangers, and some those random strangers puking after one too many drinks. Although it would've probably been more fun. Plus, there were some articles in the newspaper too, about Contis and the "stuff" that tends to go wrong there, so perhaps it all worked out for the best. And, we only had to pay Rs.450/-
And the food wasnt that bad, I guess :P
The dancing was crazy fun. The sweaty hair? Not so much. My feet hurt too (I blame the heels). But what the hell? I wore a dress for the first time, went totally wild while dancing, and had an amazing time. So the sweaty hair and feet can be forgiven.
And, well, the hangover still remains! I keep on listening to the songs we danced on for our performance. I go through the routine in my head every now and then. Check the gazzillions of photos taken during the Farewell and Conti. I have'nt gotten over it yet. Truth is, I really dont want to :)

ReplyDeleteYo Pee-Bee :P Tera blog toh mast hai re Bedhu! That day I was feeling so tired and my feet ached like anything. But you, that I night I got so depressed because it dawned upon me that we're in line next and that this is our last year in school! :( Upar se next day Kanpur and I had to miss the night stay with 'the' boys! These people had so much fun, the killed Pranav! :D
